How to Play Weddle
To play Weddle, begin by guessing the name of a current NFL player. You can choose any offensive skill position like a wide receiver (WR), running back (RB), quarterback (QB), or tight end (TE).
Once you enter a name, the game will provide color-coded feedback to help you narrow down the correct answer.
- A green box means you’ve guessed that attribute exactly right—for example, the correct team or height.
- A yellow box means you’re close: maybe the player is in the right conference but not the correct division, or their age is within two years of the mystery player.
- A gray box indicates that your guess is completely off for that attribute.
Use this feedback to guide your next guess, adjusting based on what was close and what missed the mark. Keep an eye on small details—an inch of height or a couple of pounds can help point you in the right direction.
You have two game modes to choose from:
- In Normal Mode, you get eight guesses and the mystery player is always a fantasy-relevant offensive player.
- In Hard Mode, the mystery player can be anyone currently in the NFL, including defensive players and special teamers. In this version, a yellow in the position column simply means you’re on the right side of the ball—offense, defense, or special teams.
Your goal is to identify the correct player in as few guesses as possible using logic, football knowledge, and the clues provided.
